Guangdong Vocational and Technical School of Civil Affairs (originally Guangdong Civil Affairs School, Code:3) is founded under the approval of the People's Government of Guangdong Province and is subordinate to the Guangdong Department of Civil Affairs. It is a provincial vocational and technical school with fine tradition and discipline. Our school's motto is “to be knowledgeable, to be moral, to face the society and to train the students to be Pragmatic talents”. Presently, we have 13 majors including civil affairs management, electronic accountancy, applied computer science and so on. Our school has a teacher team of high quality. Our school combines the traditional education with contemporary management. It is equipped with closed-circuit television teaching system, multi-media lab and contemporary educational mediums and equipments based on the school intranet.

  The school applied the credit system. The students can pick up courses according to their interest and talents. Besides, our school pays attention to cultivate the students' skills and improve their quality. The students can enter for the tests of different kinds of certificates related to their majors. At the same time, the students can attend the administration management course (junior college diploma) which is run collaboratively by Sun Yat-Sen University and our school.
